  1. Love that you came out for a part two of this deck. Really great. Wished I still owned death blade so I could port it to this deck.

On a side note, eldrazi just tore up the pro tour and I was thinking that a legacy deck tech would be really cool for eldrazi.
With ugin eye and eldrazi temple, plus our sol lands, it could be a sweet deck. Not sure what it’s current good or bad match ups would be but thought I’d throw it out there 🙂

    1. Thanks, man! Legacy Eldrazi and pros and cons vs 12-post and MUD (similar strategies) would be a great topic that we should definitely discuss soon.

  2. Love the list, I plan on running it at this weeks fnm. I may switch up the sideboard as my local meta is mostly white fair decks (d&t, maverick and stoneblade variants). What changes to the sideboard would you suggest? Also with Eldrazi running a muck in Modern, why not have a crack at getting that deck to work in legacy? Thanks guys, keep up the good content!

    1. Cards like Massacre are always great. The basics will be quite nice in the Thalia/Wasteland matchups. I wouldn’t bring in Decays in those matchups because it makes your mana worse. You might add another Disenchant for the Stoneforge matchups. It has done a lot of work for us in testing. The more I think about it, the more I like Massacre because of True-Name Nemesis from Stoneblade. Maybe Wilson can chime in here. Thanks for trying out the list.

Finally, the Eldrazi are coming and will be a part of our next full episode.

    2. Hi Josh, the only change I would make to the list in a Stoneforge-heavy local meta would probably be to add a 2nd Disenchant over the 2nd Abrupt Decay. Also I would board in the Thoughtseizes against those decks. Overall I have found Stoneblade variants to be good matchups. Death and Taxes can be hard, but the basic lands and our strong SB plan of boarding out all Forces and Counterbalances for lots of removal and Thoughtseizes is very strong.

      1. I knew Wilson wouldn’t go for the Massacre, but I had to try. Throw a Virtue’s Ruin in there for some heinous D&T hatred, but good luck getting to three mana in your main phase.

  3. Thank you both for the suggestions. I’ll post my results tomorrow.

On a side note do you guys have a eldrazi baseline deck you been working on?

    1. Hey Josh, finishing up some testing and tweaking, but I will either do a Brief Brainstorm or full episode on it this week, so keep your eyes out for it! Let us know how your Legacy FNM went.

      1. Unfortunately or fortunately however your look at it, my friends convinced me to play my Eldrazi list I put together. There was only 8 people there this week as most were playing standard to prep for the pptq today. Anyway with my Eldrazi list I ended up 2 – 1 which was good enough to cash. I lost round 1 to rug delver, that feels like a terrible match-up. I won round 2 vs 4 color delver, which feels like a great match-up as they have a ton of 1 drops. Chalice on 1 and or trinisphere just kills that deck. Round 3 I beat miracles, that match was very close and came down to a Reality Smasher game 2 of a top deck. Game 3 he got a blood moon in play but lucky I already had a creature in play putting the beats on. I eventually got my ratchet bomb to 3 and took care of the blood moon and finished him off with a reality smasher. I’ll post my list later, it is by no means optimal yet. Hopefully with your guys help we can make it better.

    1. Nice work with the Eldrazi deck! Phil is a posting a Brief Brainstorm about his Pro Tour experience probably sometime tomorrow, and then I/we are going to do some content on Eldrazi and post our Eldrazi list.

    1. Hey, we actually just finished recording an episode, and we discuss Eternal Masters a bit in the beginning. We’ll post soon!
