Wow, great episode! It’s interesting to think about how a delver deck could be built to beat Miracles. A deck I’ve had success online with vs Miracles is UWR Painter, and you guys should give it a try!
I love me some Painter – want to email us your list?
Still has trouble beating Terminus, which is Miracles’ strongest card against any Delver deck. You sacrifice real pressure with Goyf in Mongoose.
Why not just call it Nimble Bug?
hi guys, wanna definitely give it a try. how would you board against elves?
The Elves MU is brutal unfortunately. Board in all the removal and take out the Stifles. Needle is also probably better than a Daze. Don’t make the board worse against the field by jamming Golgari Charms in, though. They are good in that MU and D&T, but bad against the current meta.
Stifle won me two matches against Elves: I stifled Behemoth’s trigger two times in a row and Delvers flew over the tiny green dudes.
Kill tnn which is a 4 of in a very popular deck.
I have been playing this deck a little, I find the DnT match up almost unwinnable
I agree completely. The MU is utterly horrendous. In the SCG Legacy classic I Top 8ed, my only loss in Swiss was to D&T and my loss in top 8 was to D&T.
Good work!
whats MU?
Matchup
Very fun deck to play. Named it: Top Gun.
Why? The reference to ‘Goose’ was too big 😉
deck runs pretty smoothly, but i’m really missing the golgari charms that i usually play (typically i’m a hymn bug delver player)
Hey guys,
I love this list, and have been jamming it recently with a few changes. Im running 12 creatures (4 DRS, 4 Delver, 2 Goose, 2 TNN) and then my removal split is 3 Fatal Push, 2 Decay, 1 Dismember.
The 2 Nimbles are being replaced by 1 spell snare and 1 counterspell.
What do you guys think about this? I was wondering if you would change the deck or sideboard at all now with the printing of fatal push and the move towards a more fair meta.
Thank you!
